Parent Communication at Queen Ethelburga’s

Stay updated throughout the crucial examination years at Queen Ethelburga’s.

We understand that Key Stage 4 and 5 are an important stage in your child’s life, and you will want to be a part of it. Both QE College and QE Faculty host regular parent events, online parents' evenings and send termly reports and newsletters.

Keep Your Child’s Progress On Track

You are always welcome to chat to teachers over the phone or via email, or to visit us in person at the school. For international parents we have Chinese, Thai and Russian speaking Liaison Officers available to speak to.

Both senior schools host Parents' Evenings with form tutors and subject teachers. As we have a large boarding community, all Parents’ Evenings are online so every parent can attend, wherever they are in the world.

In addition, you will receive three termly assessment statements which include current and predicted grades and a full written report.

Celebrating The Good News Stories

At the end of each term, the Heads of College and Faculty send a newsletter celebrating student successes and updating parents on what has been happening at school.

Look out for invitations to events at school and key dates for your calendar as you are invited to join the Collegiate for Bonfire Night, Speech Day or to watch Team QE compete in sports matches on the school fields. The senior schools also have Transition Evenings and Career Days where you can discuss your child’s future plans.
