Fundraise & Volunteer

Fundraising and Volunteering at Chapter House

Chapter House children and staff join with the Collegiate to fundraise and take part in volunteering roles.

At the start of each academic year, everyone (including parents) has the chance to vote for the six charities the school will raise money for throughout the year. There are exciting fundraising activities organised for these, and for nationwide events such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day.

There is a wide range of volunteering and fundraising opportunities available at Chapter House Preparatory School.

Fundraising

In addition to activities for our chosen charities, there are annual events like the Harvest Festival to raise donations for Leeds Food Bank, the Christmas Toy Collection, and the Collegiate’s Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Volunteer Roles at Chapter House

Children are encouraged to apply for volunteering roles in the school by helping in lessons, the library or joining a committee.

Classes also help in the local community by creating Christmas cards and writing letters to care home residents.
