Super-Curricular

Super-Curricular at QE College

Build your interests and talents through the Super-Curricular programme at QE College.

The programme is designed to help strengthen your personal statement and prepare you for working in the real world.

The Super-Curricular programme is a range of activities to further enhance students’ subject knowledge and skills. The activities are timetabled as a one-hour slot in QE College’s Key Stage 5 timetable. Students can also participate in a range of Super-Curricular activities after-school.

"The activities have allowed me to freely explore different courses and professions outside of class which helped me discover my university aspirations."

Students are also encouraged to enter national competitions during their Super-Curricular period.

Push Yourself To Go Further

In conjunction with the timetabled Super-Curricular activities, Key Stage 5 students can join additional after-school activities.

Super Curricular lessons have helped me develop knowledge and practical skills that aren’t necessarily covered in AS or A level subject specifications.

These lessons have helped prepare me for university in widening my understanding of subject areas to help when I start my degree. For example, in our Medicine group we got the chance to learn how to suture which is great for me in my aspirations of going into Medicine.
