Forces Families

Forces Families

Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate has a long-standing relationship with the British Forces and has welcomed students from Forces families for over 100 years.

Queen Ethelburga’s can help support forces families who are eligible for the Continuity of Education Allowance.
Putting Children’s Wellbeing First

The Wellbeing Team places every student's mental health and resilience at the centre of everything they do. The team helps Forces students to contact parents who may be deployed abroad, and our Pastoral Centre is always open to any student wanting support or simply a chat over a hot chocolate.

Queen Ethelburga’s also runs a Peer Mentor scheme that links older Forces students with younger students who may need the support and advice of someone who has had a similar experience.
